Have you ever wondered how you can become more active in your AMA Philadelphia chapter? We have many opportunities for our members to become involved in the chapter and get more out of their membership. Whether your goal is to use your current skills to network with other marketing professionals or you want to develop new skills to increase your current value and stay current, your chapter is the place for you. Below is a list of the 2006-2007 committees currently seeking volunteers and the roles that you could help fill.
MEMBERSHIP / COLLEGIATE RELATIONS:
We have many involvement opportunities including content development for the website, newsletter and chapter presentations, mentors for collegiate chapter organizations, networking specialists for meetings and business development professionals for membership development.

SPONSORSHIP:
The current Sponsorship Committee needs include business development professionals along with marketers with major account background and administrative support.

SEMINARS & EVENTS:
We're looking for volunteers to help with event management/production, project management, graphic design/print publishing and AV setup/support.

COMMUNICATIONS:
Projects that volunteers can assist with include writing on marketing topics for the newsletter and website, web development, assisting with chapter PR and performing development and project management support for the Job Bank.

PROGRAMMING:
The programming committee is always in need of subject-matter experts in the field of marketing and communications to bring in front of our diverse chapter audience. Also, volunteers with some experience in setting up and promotion of meetings and events are needed.

TECHNOLOGY:
As technology continues to evolve, so will marketers need to embrace and harness its power. The technology committee is in need of volunteers that will help to communicate the message of PAMA through online outlets, as well as analyze effective uses of technology for PAMA members. Website publishing experience is a plus, but not a necessity!
