About Patrick McKenna

Patrick McKenna - DMi Partners

Patrick McKenna—successful entrepreneur, former corporate executive, Ivy Leaguer, active Board member, community volunteer, family man and sought after speaker on business, marketing and e-commerce issues—started DMi Partners in 2003, determined to change the landscape of online marketing.

As an operations manager for Citizens Energy Corporation in Boston before he became a founding partner of DMi, Patrick honed skills in brand development, negotiation, strategic planning, and resource management. He measures success in the generation of solid financial performance and in happy partners, employees, clients, and family. Patrick determines the company’s direction and sets the tone for the working environment at DMi.

A degree in public policy from Harvard is just one manifestation of Patrick’s concern for the greater good, a concern that can equally be seen in DMi’s focus on customer service. He oversees all aspects of the company, from client services to the creative department. It’s no surprise clients such as JG Wentworth choose DMi and remain clients of DMi; with their help, JGW generated a 72% increase in business on only a 21% increase in advertising spends.

Patrick’s leadership illustrates to others, both inside and outside of the company, that caring goes a long way. Customer satisfaction is the staff’s reward, so meeting the client’s needs, down to the last detail, is DMi’s passion. Patrick’s success in partnering with companies proved itself when the pioneer maker of nostalgia jerseys and throwback sportswear, Mitchell & Ness, grew 152% in online sales, thanks to DMi’s efforts. The company, though recently acquired by Adidas, has retained DMi to continue the lucrative campaigns.

Patrick lives in Center City, Philadelphia, with his wife, Michele, and son, Owen.
