About the Competition
This year the professional chapter of Philadelphia AMA partnered with Campus Philly, a locally based non-profit organization, to sponsor the Philadelphia AMA Collegiate Marketing Plan Competition. The goal of the competition was to develop a strategic marketing plan based on the challenges facing Campus Philly. Student teams, under the guidance of their university professors or advisors, built a marketing plan based on the “Campus Philly” case as part of a course, club activity or independent program. Teams competed in two phases of judging: Phase One: Submitting a written marketing plan report to be scored in the first round of judging. Phase Two: Present their marketing plans to the panel of judges. The resulting cumulative scores of plan and presentation determined the winner.
